Natches are the modern equivalent to the notch. They are made of durable plastic and precision made to ensure accurate mould alignment, thereby eliminating imperfect, twisted seams.

Case Alignment Natches

The Moorland Case Alignment Natch has been designed to meet the
growing demand for better quality seams on cast ware and aids to a
longer life of the working moulds. It has been specially designed to
be used with most silicon rubbers and resins. Once incorporated in
the production master case moulds it provides a rigid location for the
plastic natch.

Produced from High Quality Resin The Moorland Case Alignment
Natch is impact and ware resistant even under the most rigorous of
mould production units and under normal use should be fully
reusable.

Also available are Brass Case Alignment Natches. The brass casing
natch system offers no cross seams, very tight seams, and is said to
prolong the life of the mould.

To further improve the mould location we have undertaken a quality
assurance programme to ensure precision moulding of the Original
Regina Natch to match both Case Alignment Natches. These
improvements will ensure accurate mould location and so eliminate
imperfect seams.
