Vacuum Seals are one of Sydney Heath & Son's specialist areas. We supply high quality vacuum seals to a variety of industries to help decrease the risk of employee industry and product damage.

The vacuum lifting process works by the seal being attached to the item which is to be lifted, suction is applied which creates the vacuum to lift the item, meaning the pore size of the material is critical.

Open Cell and Closed Cell Sponge Rubber would be the materials to use for the vacuum seal. Depending on the type of seal required, this would determine which material would be best for yur application.

The Sponge rubber is placed on the bottom of the lifter which would be used to pick up the article/product to form the seal between them. It is important that high quality material is used to prevent any damage occuring due to the seal breaking.
