Standard Polyester
Polyester Foams are the second most important group of Polyurethane Foams.

Polyester Foam Characteristics:
- Regular cell structure
- Accurate control of pore size
- Higher air flow resistance lending better acoustic absorption.
- Higher hysteresis (delayed reaction) and lower elasticity leading to better shock absorption
- Higher mechanical resistance.
- Less affected by organic solvents and detergents, but rapidly more affected by water and heat.
- Slower oxidation rate.
These lead to Polyester Foams being used in a wide range of technical applications such as packaging, acoustic absorption, flame lamination, padding, sealing, thermal insulation etc.
Extensively used in the automotive industry in many applications.
Due to such a wide range available let our expertise at Sydney Heath & Son guide you through the selection to find the best foam for your application/product.
